Nvidia has unveiled its third major collaboration in India this month, teaming up with IT giant Infosys to drive productivity gains through generative AI applications and solutions for enterprises. Infosys is set to establish an Nvidia Center of Excellence, where they will train and certify 50,000 employees in Nvidia’s AI technologies.

Under this partnership, Infosys will integrate Nvidia’s AI Enterprise ecosystem, comprising models, tools, runtimes, and GPU systems, into its AI-focused offering, Topaz. This integration will enable Infosys to develop customer-friendly generative AI solutions for businesses.

Infosys employs the complete Nvidia generative AI platform, including hardware and enterprise-grade software, across its business operations, aiding clients in building generative AI applications. The collaboration will extend into digitalization applications, with a particular focus on creating solutions for enterprise use cases in 3D workflows, design collaboration, digital twin technology, world simulation, and more. Additionally, the two companies are jointly working on AI-powered solutions in areas such as 5G, cybersecurity, and energy transition.

Nvidia’s CEO, Jensen Huang, expressed his belief that generative AI would fuel the next wave of enterprise productivity gains, emphasizing the rapid expansion of the Nvidia AI Enterprise ecosystem. He stated, "Together, Nvidia and Infosys will create an expert workforce to help businesses use this platform to build custom applications and solutions."

Nandan Nilekani, Chairman and co-founder of Infosys, highlighted their transformation into an AI-first company to better serve clients with AI-based services. He noted, "Infosys Topaz offerings and solutions are complementary to Nvidia’s core stack. By combining our strengths and training 50,000 of our workforce on Nvidia AI technology, we are creating end-to-end industry-leading AI solutions that will help enterprises on their journey to become AI-first."

Earlier this month, Nvidia announced partnerships with Reliance and the Tata Group in India. With Reliance, Nvidia will provide end-to-end AI supercomputer technologies, encompassing CPU, GPU, networking, AI operating systems, and frameworks for AI model development, while Jio will manage the AI cloud infrastructure.

With the Tata Group, Nvidia will assist in developing and processing generative AI applications, upskilling over 600,000 TCS employees in AI, deploying AI across Tata Motors' design, styling, engineering, simulation testing, and autonomous vehicle capabilities, and aiding Tata Communications in building AI infrastructure.
